Get along side of it and stick a 12" round of oak in between the drive sprocket and the first roller wheel, and you now have a sitting duck.

I have one of these for sale-1972 Shorland.$18,000.Built on a Land rover 1 ton frame-5 known in the States.Parts not an issue as with the Saracen,Ferret,Saladin.....Weight 7,500 lbs, speed 40 mph,armor 8-10 mm -advertised as defeating up to 30.06 AP beyond 100 yards.
Seats 4,accepts Browning 1919 in turret.Engine-"F" head 6-cylinder,gets about 8 mpg.A handful of Shorland owners are in England and have converted the motor over to a 6-cyl diesel mod. Radios-german SEM 35 VHF(880 channels)-compatible with the PRC 25 and PRC77.Also has IR night vision for driving. |

Sorry Boys, those are all just deathtraps on todays battlefield. Any raghead with a 50 caliber and a 500 grain DU sabot is going to send you to your maker. What do you think stopped the isrealiars dead in their tracks last summer? Never going to tell you in our "free press", but they lost about 20 M1 tanks. Saw an Iraqi resistance vidio of them machineing sabots from dud DU rounds over a year ago; was put out by the same group that posted the "Jubal" sniper vidios.
